Top Government, Security Leaders Celebrate The Unity Project Nigeria at 6

Abuja, Nigeria – December 13, 2025

Prominent government officials and security leaders have commended The Unity Project Nigeria (TUPN) as the organisation marked its 6th anniversary during the 2025 Nigeria First Unity Summit held in Abuja.

Among those who celebrated the milestone were the Chairman of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), the Presidential Spokesperson, the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the National Security Adviser (NSA), the Director-General of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Director-General of the City Boy Movement.

The leaders congratulated Miss Serrano, Founder and Convener of TUPN, for her sustained dedication to promoting peace, unity, and national cohesion in Nigeria. They praised her consistent efforts in creating platforms that encourage dialogue among government actors, security agencies, traditional rulers, youth groups, and civil society.

This year’s summit was held under the theme “Peace, Unity and Security: A Collective Responsibility,” and focused on strengthening collaboration across sectors to address Nigeria’s peace and security challenges.

Speakers at the event emphasized that peace and security cannot be achieved by government alone, but require collective responsibility from citizens, institutions, and communities. They noted that TUPN has continued to play a vital role in bridging gaps between stakeholders and fostering inclusive national conversations.

As The Unity Project Nigeria marks six years of impact, participants expressed optimism that the initiative will continue to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s unity, stability, and long-term peacebuilding efforts.
